INVESTIGATION OF THE OLD GEELONG GAOL
December 2007

A second look at the Old Geelong Gaol, following up on the teams earlier visit in June.

This time we were armed with additional equipment including Thermal Imaging Camera, Radiation, Infrasound, Dust and Air Quality Monitors from Tech Rentals.

We are thankful to Tech Rentals and the Rotary Club of Geelong for their assistance in this investigation.

During the December 2007 investigation the team took over 1300 photographs and 30 hours of video footage.

Below are some short videos of the investigation including a walk around the gaol using a Thermal Imaging Camera and some light anomalies captured in the small infirmary room on level 2.

The gaol didn't seem as active as our earlier visit although there were some equipment issues noted, which apparently may be common for teams investigating the site. Two cameras took pictures without the operator assistance, there were some light anomalies recorded and PIR motion detectors registered some unexplained movement. The site retained a rating of having "indications of possible activity".
